Connecting with Twitter
enables you to do brand monitoring and respond to tweets that require action. Responses are directly sent as tweets.
Step 1: Navigate to Configuration>Twitter and click Connect with Twitter.
Click on Add Twitter account.
Popup window will show up. There you have to log in with your Twitter username and password and then click Authorize app.
Once your LiveAgent
is connected with Twitter, click on Edit.
Step 5: In the next screen check in the "Status" checkbox and click Save.
Now you can define your own list of queries - monitoring tweets generated on Twitter
Here are examples how to search for specific tweets and turn them into tickets
||containing both "twitter" and "search". This is the default operator
||containing the exact phrase "happy hour"
|love OR hate
||containing either "love" or "hate" (or both)
||containing "beer" but not "root"
||containing the hashtag "haiku"
||sent from the user @twitterapi
