Import tickets from a different helpdesk

We offer seamless migration of your old help desk data into your new LiveAgent account. Reach out to our support at support@ladesk.com to receive the free concierge migration service or simply follow the steps below to do it yourself:

In LiveAgent agent panel navigate to Configuration > System > Plugins. Find the proper 'Data Migration' plugin and click on 'Activate' button next to it. 

Then you have to reload the agent panel. After reload go back to the Plugins section and click on 'Configure' button next to the plugin.

In the configuration popup you have to enter: 

  • API key - in your former helpdesk account navigate to your profile>API Keys>click on Generate an API Key button and use the copy the generated API key

Paste the API key here:

In the plugin configuration hit 'Save' and you are done. LiveAgent will import tickets on the background (depending on the volume of tickets, it might take several minutes up to several hours). You can continue working with LiveAgent while the import is in progress.
